“Hosanna” means “save now,” and on this day the crowd received Jesus as the Saviour, the Messiah; they wave palm branches and lay down their clothing in worship. Some were inviting Him to oust the Romans, others were unknowingly inviting Him to die for the on the Cross as the only way to salvation.
