The Book is written particularly to the Nation of Israel, the Jews/Hebrews. The Book presents Jesus as Superior than Old Testament Angels, Moses and the Law, Priesthood and sacrifices. The Hebrews/Jews/Israelis exalted their Patriarchs and OT messengers and ministers above Jesus and this Book is meant to correct their [and any other] false thinking and exalts other voices apart from Jesus.
The Book then encourages Christians to continue holding on to Jesus Christ, the once and for all sacrifice, the eternal High Priest and Author and finisher of our faith.
