After the floods Noah built an altar and offered a sacrifice. Noah’s first act after leaving the ark was to worship God through sacrifice. Noah’s offering of worship pleased God and He made a wonderful promise to Noah and to all men.
God establishes seasons, instills fear of men in animals, forbids eating blood and institutes capital punishment.
