The death of Jesus Christ brought fear, discouragement and uncertainty to His followers. The hopes and dreams of those who thought He was going to dethrone Rome were shuttered. Those who knew Him as their security were left in the cold, bound by fear that the Romans would come for them, having killed their Lord. Those who weren’t prepared for His death knew that He was the solution all future uncertainties, however, the future seemed bleak.
