Paul narrated to the Christians in Jerusalem what God had done in the gentiles as well as hearing what the Jews thought about him. Paul and four other men had taken the purification vow which had to be ended with an offering. A crowd is incited by the Jews against Paul, he is arrested, beaten, rescued by Roman soldiers, requests for a moment to speak to the people, (initially he was mistaken to be a former Egyptian rebel), but he was a Roman citizen who had all rights for justice. Paul is given permission and he narrates his story of faith, his testimony.
